About the role
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Product Manager who brings valuable federal or state government experience to our team. The ideal candidate will strategically lead product initiatives from conception through delivery, defining direction, managing scope, and establishing priorities based on thorough user research and stakeholder needs. You will guide products through the complete lifecycle, from initial discovery and research phases to successful implementation and continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will need to have excellent communication skills, an understanding of product cycles and software engineering processes, Agile methodologies, and prior experience in accessibility and user research. As a Senior Product Manager, you will understand government stakeholder needs and requirements, translating those needs into actionable design and software requirements, user acceptance criteria, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to launch and iterate government digital services.
Desired Skill Set
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Experience leading in a technical environment with a cross-functional team driving product vision, defining product requirements, and guiding the team through key milestones
- Experience supporting Medicare/Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, or other federal health systems
- Ability to develop product strategies informed by a deep understanding of problems to be solved, prioritizing outcomes over feature sets, and establishing clear product direction with measurable success criteria
- Proven experience working with or delivering products for federal agencies, with an understanding of their missions, challenges, and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with government stakeholders to align solutions with established workflows and technical ecosystems, ensuring seamless integration and adoption
- Proficiency in human-centered design processes to inform product direction
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills that build trust, alignment, and healthy team environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience thriving in a fully remote work environment
